Royal Podz 6-Month Limited Warranty

This Limited Warranty (“Warranty”) is issued by Royal Podz Pty Ltd, trading as Royal Podz ("Seller"). It applies to all refurbished and pre-owned products purchased directly from Royal Podz’ official store (the “Site”).
Royal Podz is committed to providing high-quality refurbished devices. To support this commitment, all eligible products are covered by a 6-month limited warranty from the date of delivery. This Warranty outlines what is covered, how long coverage lasts, how to obtain service, and the limitations that apply.
1. What is covered by this Warranty?
The Seller warrants to the original buyer (“Buyer”) that the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for six (6) months following the date of delivery (“Warranty Period”).
Covered defects include:
- Functional failures or manufacturing faults in hardware components.
- Malfunctions under standard usage.
- Device errors not resulting from misuse or unauthorized modification.
If a covered defect occurs during the Warranty Period, Royal Podz will, at its discretion:
- Repair the product using new or refurbished parts;
- Replace the product with an equivalent item;
- Refund the original purchase price.
Any replacement or repaired product is warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period.
2. Who is covered?
This Warranty is available only to the original buyer of the product and is not transferable. Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) must be provided to make a claim.
3. What is NOT covered?
This Warranty does not cover the following:
- Physical damage due to accidents, drops, or improper handling.
- Water or liquid damage, oxidation, or corrosion.
- Damage caused by unauthorized repairs, disassembly, firmware flashing, or third-party alterations.
- Normal wear and tear (e.g. scratches, cosmetic damage).
- Battery deterioration consistent with normal use.
- Use of incorrect chargers or accessories.
- Software issues caused by third-party applications or external interference.
- Products used outside of South Africa or shipped internationally after purchase.
Royal Podz reserves the right to reject any returned item that shows signs of abuse, unauthorized modification, or tampering.
4. How to make a Warranty claim
To initiate a claim, the Buyer must:
- Email support@royalpodz.com with the order number, description of the issue, and proof of purchase.
- Complete the Warranty Claim Form provided by Royal Podz.
- Send supporting photos or videos where necessary to illustrate the issue.
If the issue appears to fall under this Warranty:
- A return shipping label will be provided at no cost to the Buyer.
- The Buyer must return the product in its original packaging (or equivalent protective packaging).
- Once the returned item is received, the Seller will inspect and respond within 5 business days.
If the issue is covered, Royal Podz will proceed with repair, replacement, or refund. If the issue is not covered, the Buyer will be notified and given the option to:
- Pay for repairs or replacement;
- Have the item returned (shipping at Buyer’s cost);
- Request disposal by Royal Podz.
5. Limitations of Liability
Except where prohibited by applicable law:
- Royal Podz is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost data, lost profits, or business interruption.
- The remedies provided under this Warranty are exclusive and replace all other warranties, conditions, and remedies, whether oral or written.
- Implied warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this Limited Warranty.
Some jurisdictions may not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties, so these limitations may not apply to all Buyers.
6. Governing Law
This Warranty is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising out of or related to this Warranty will be handled in accordance with South African law.
7. Final Notes
This Warranty is not an insurance policy and does not create any legal obligations beyond those set out herein. Royal Podz reserves the right to update this Warranty policy at any time without prior notice. Any updates will not affect Warranty claims already submitted before the change.
